Houses aren’t necessarily homes and homes aren’t just houses. Homes are much more than just brick and mortar, homes are built of love and passion and laughter and joy, they are built of dreams of people living in them, they’re built of what these people went through to make up a small space that they can proudly call home. I remember my mother taking forever to choose the furniture of our new house. The rocking chair she picked for herself shows all the struggles she’s been through to deserve the rest now. The bookshelf she picked was so perfect to fit all our books (we own quite a lot of them) and still have space to fit more books. The cosy sofa and the intricate wooden work on the dressing tables, the queen-sized bed (best motivation to get back home after a hectic day), the mini dining table to keep the family closer, now that I think of it everything is so well though, I guess only mothers can do this or the experts at Ficus Fine Living. So glad they have experts like the one and only Charu Tewari, who guides at every step to make your house look like your dream home. My mother always said your house should be a reflection of who you are as a person and Ficus Fine Living helps you create a mirror image. Do visit the stores, I’ve left a piece of my heart there.

Well, I hardly wear Kurtis, it’s not like I don’t like to wear but don’t get a chance to wear but whenever I get, I feel super free comfortable I have a big craze for long Kurtis.
Recently I got a gorgeous, simple and classic one from Kraftwork and paired it with white palazzo, cotton is king of fabrics we all know that so it was too light and simple which I really liked about it coz this Kurti is really good for every season and never gets out of trend.

Here is something which you will relate with Dear Denim Lovers

No matter what brand you buy no matter how expensive you buy nothing can beat denim it’s much more committed to you than your relationship it won’t leave until you leave it… LOL
Sharing my favorite denim styles…
I just love the concept of this free style shirt from 10_monocrome with the patches, which kind of gives it an impact and completes it I wore it with this boot cut Jeans from One love to match the free style look.

So, this visit was in January 2016. Sorry, for posting late
Day – 1
Landed in Delhi it was 11 am in the morning, you know how Delhi would be in January freaking freezing it was
I stayed at my friend’s place for a night coz I had to leave next morning for Uttarakhand by road
Day – 2
road trip, by cab to Haldwani it was supposed to take a few hours, but we took almost a day to reach Haldwani. coz of the heavy rain we were not able to see the roads ahead, too much of fog and brakes were required
After spending crazy 5 hours I was down with cold and fever and I was literally shivering.
I took a nap for a while, Jyse Tyse we reached to Haldwani, I was supposed to stay in a hotel but considering my health ended up staying with a friend’s family
It was 7 pm till we reached, they have a beautiful villa kind of Korthi you can say in a middle of a forest. in the woods, incredible and beautiful!!
Day – 3
Started early, usually am not an early riser person coz of cold I woke up early. it was extremely cold. Came out of the room and felt totally different greenery all over, the mountain mist was kissing my face lightly, every corner and side were artistically beautiful like portraits of green. Just imagine, in chilling cold, not just viewing, I was feeling it with a cup of chai (Tea). Mesmerizing morning!! Unknowingly I spent half of my day at the terrace.
I just wanted to be there I didn’t go out stayed at home.
Day – 4
was ready for my ride with my buddy
We were heading to Bhimtal and Naukuchiatal
Ride was actually adventures I was actually dying whenever I was looking down into the mountains and hills it looks beautiful but if you will actually ride on them it’s super scary
Somehow, we managed to reach was not so easy especially in winter season, as my friend is actually from Uttarakhand it was just a normal drive for him seeing me like that was funny for him.
We reached such an enormous lake green water enclosed by mountains looked like a daydream after spending some time there we went to Naukochia Taal was as similar as Bhimtal
Day 5- left early for Nainital by car reached there had some food and then after started exploring the beautiful place, we went up to the mountains by trolley I was really scared from mounts but wanted to go and experience, it was dead gorgeous and beautiful greenery fog, cold, snow everything was there I could not take my eyes off of the view it was beyond the imagination. Nanital is for sure an adventure place up on the mountain we did go karting gun shooting and it was super fun in cold we were not able to talk but still dared to do everything likely and it was amazing. it always feels great to try for something when you’re not ready for it.
Day 6 – Came back to Delhi and took late night flight and back to the city I love “Mumbai Meri Jaan”

1. You haven’t achieved your career goals
Marriage can never affect your career goals. If you really want to achieve it, nothing can stop you. But if you feel your focus, time and money are devoted to your career and you want to achieve them at any cost, you should definitely not get married, all I can say is wait for the right time.
2. You’re financially not stable yet
Here comes the most important part of life, Money
If you’re not financially stable just don’t do it. No matter how rich your father is no matter house rich your life partner is, at the end, it’s all about you. Go get it and then think about getting married because there would be a time when you will realize whatever you have is not yours. And believe me, you won’t be able to deal with it.
3. You haven’t overcome from your past relationship.
This game is dangerous, I have seen my close friends getting married just to overcome and forget their past relationship. You can never walk away from it and don’t even try, you got to deal with it.
It will take some time and once you come out of it things will be normal again.
It will be hard work in the beginning and you will have to constantly work towards it. Always remember the rule of thumb, stay away from your ex, even if they try coming back. Always question yourself “Why didn’t it work out in the first place”. Acceptance is the key here. Try this, it will actually be helpful.
4. You haven’t explored yourself.
Yeah, it is very Important to explore YOURSELF. It does not mean that you must travel to do it. Exploring yourself for me is to know yourself better, be in sync with yourself, it will help you in settling down with the Right Partner. It will help your partner to understand you in a better way.
So yeah before getting married, explore yourself.
5. You’re not ready for compromises
This comes from your past experiences when you did compromise and you got nothing in return and it’s totally fine. Learn from your experiences, for me, there shouldn’t be a compromise, there should be understanding Always remember a relationship is a two-way process and if you can’t compromise you should stay away from relationships.
Heya My People,
I am sure you guys are rocking, Thank you for such a great response on my previous blogs, hope you keep enjoying more of them. also, let me know if you want me to write any specific blog.
Here is my new blog on Globus Fashion!!!!
Globus Fashion, I have been wearing since I was in school, it was one of my favourite brands that time and still is, why I love this brand??? because it has everything you can wish for no matter what your age is, no matter what style type you have so if you’re a housewife, office going girl, media personality, an actress, an artist, mommy, granny and the most important part, it is pocket friendly.
So recently I tried few looks, will take you step by step
Look – 1
I guess this outfit is perfect for any of your casual occasion whether it be a lunch date with friends/Family Or with your “someone special” Or Shopping Or for a long drive. This jogger pant is so comfortable that you can even wear it for your yoga or workout classes or Dance classes. Comfortable yet stylish. The crop top is not body fitted so it gives a classy cute look. I thought of wearing them together and looked a perfect pair.. what do you think??
I also tried 2 different styles so you can pick any of them 🙂
Look – 2
I Love the combination of yellow and blue, I think it gives a traditional vibe, I wanted to try this long top with this skirt. I think it changed the whole look so you can even try your short Kurti and spaghetti with it, it’s good to try this for summer weddings, light and bright. The high messy bun was a good Idea to give a complete look.
Look – 3
I just loved this dress, it has beautiful print and fabric. There are a lot of options for net fabric and I have seen people not liking the fabric much. This is for you guys, the net fabric is super soft, it won’t damage your skin for sure as this was the reason even I never wore net fabrics, now I just love them.
You just need to try them out properly while buying.
I was so excited when my makeup artist told me that she will be trying some flowers for hair styling, bdw this ombre hair is not real as I don’t Colour my hair, it is a hair extension which went very well with my look all credit goes to Riya Chandra

A Few months ago I went to Goa for a photo shoot, it was a 4 day trip. We had multiple changes and concepts to do in a short period of time. The plan was to shoot at every part of Goa.
It was my first trip to Goa so I was super exited!!!!
We took an early morning flight from Mumbai.
It was a perfect morning with perfect vibes at Goa, weather was beautiful. We took a taxi to a private house, which we had booked in advance so it was just like being home, we were staying at Saturday market, North Goa, such a peaceful place! I just wanted to stay there forever!! Hahhaha!!
We checked in and made ourselves comfortable before heading out to shoot. As we know no one can work on empty stomach, we went out for lunch. We had to shoot at least 2 looks; we went back to our house to change and for make-up.
Then we visited all the places in North Goa, mostly street side, it was almost 5pm. We had shortlisted few locations which was going with our theme… I just loved the streets; churches, duplex houses and villas which surrounded me. It had a vintage feel to it, we spent most of our time discussing about the look and feel and ended up doing only one look as we were running out of day light.
We started the shoot early morning; luckily we got the amazing view opposite to our house where we did a couple of looks and in between we were exploring Goa too!! Just next to our house there was a restaurant, RASA, we went there for brunch. We tried some different food, so next time whenever you’re in Goa and staying at Saturday market or near it, you must visit RASA , you will LOVE it, great service, hospitality and food. It is an open restaurant; you can enjoy Mother Nature with food.
We wrapped up the shoot and then finally went to the shack #bobby shacks, I think Goa is the place for people who wants be in their own zone. It’s just a different world all together; People, roads, streets, you get the vibes of being free, you get a very unconventional feeling .
I know every city has its own charm, but in Goa you feel like celebrating life.
If you see the daily routine of the people there, they sleep in the morning and start working when the half of the day is over, well it is meant to be like this as the city gets alive at NIGHT!!!!
That’s what makes it different; I always use to wonder why people just go crazy when they talk about Goa, even the teetotalers.
Now that I have experienced it, I understand 😛
People of Goa are dedicated to Hospitality, being one of the best tourist places in India. The city is affordable, classy, liberal and cultural.
We were out till 3am with no fear, it was totally safe, nobody was bothered about our clothes or anything else.. Its okay with people there if you’re roaming in a bikini, I think a lot of credit goes to people who come from other countries, I think it’s an effort made from both the sides.
Goa is also famous for Kaju (Cashew Nuts), you get different options if you’re a Kaju lover. They do loads of experiments with the spices and Kaju. If you’re thinking to take something back to your city for friends and family, Kaju can be one of the good options.
Girls you’re gonna love the beach wear of Goa, if you are good at bargaining you are sorted, so don’t bother about what you will wear , you just go out for a quick shopping and you will be all dressed up for your day at the beach .
Oh!!! I totally forgot that was at the bobby’s shack when I started writing day 2 hahahahhah …
If you’re a beach lover and you love to eat and drink at outdoor place you must visit any shacks at the beach. I made sure to visit the shacks at least once a day throughout our trip.
You will see couples on their honeymoon, People celebrating birthdays or anniversary and spending quality time with family and friend. Whenever you get time in the evening visit the shacks, it’s a different feel altogether.
It was 5am when we got back to the house.
It started late around 2 pm… The Goa feel was growing into me 😛
We hired a Jeep and carried a few of my dresses so that if we get any good location we could shoot there.
We were headed to South Goa, we visited churches and Goa museum to have a hang of it.
The view was amazing, it was vintage and it was grand, vintage cars, old churches, old houses with modern architecture, big windows, big doors, I would say complete package of mother nature and we found our location to shoot.
It was the last day and we had to finish the shoot too.. With only few looks left we were not stressed out.
We went to the beach early morning for the beach side shoot. We decided to shoot at not so popular beach as there would be fewer crowd and it will be easier to shoot.
Then again you can’t work on empty stomach… lol
We had our breakfast first at the one of the shacks.
After we wrapped our shoot in the evening, it called for a celebration so we went to the Big TAP which was newly opened, amazing set up and everything was so perfect that we partied hard and had a blast there.
The next day we had an early morning flight back to Mumbai.
In my Opinion those who haven’t been to Goa, please consider it for your next trip.

Here is my blog on the recent Dubai trip, hope you guys enjoy it!!!!!!
I had planned this trip for a while and here I was at the airport boarding my flight.I landed at Dubai Airport post mid night and oh my god don’t ask how long the immigration queue was, no wonder I was in Dubai!!
I was staying at Rove Hotels Downtown and the best thing I got was the view from my room of the world’s tallest building, Burj Khalifa!!!!!!!.
It was a 3 day trip and after sleeping for a while and yummy breakfast,I was all set to explore Dubai, A beautiful city. It’s quite easy to forget that this place is actually a desert that has been reclaimed and built over, with the impressive constructions. The law is quite strict so it’s quite safe and it felt like home. The architecture was fascinating. Weather was cloudy. City was spotlessly clean.
Day One was about Shopping so it started with the Dubai Mall ;), one of the biggest in the world, which was bang opposite to my hotel, it’s a huge mall unlike any other mall in Dubai. For both men and women, Dubai is a place for fashion, name the brand and it’s there.
With the excitement with in me I forgot to click the pictures during the day and somehow managed to click it in the evening…hahahah
After spending some time and money there :P, I went back to my hotel.
Day two started off with the beautiful Mosque’s I visited while on my way to Palm Jumeirah.
Pan Jumeirah was one of the priority thing on my bucket list not only because it was scenic but being an hardcore bollywood fan and knowing that Shah Rukh Khan owns a house there I had to be there 😛
After spending an amazing day at Pan Jumeirah, I came to the hotel and spent some time watching local T.V shows
Day Three was mostly spent on the streets of Dubai which were rich in culture and architecture.I took time out and had conversation with people from other countries to understand about their cultures. During that time I also made new friends, Ugur and Yaseen , they were from Istanbul, Turkey. Being a huge Turkish TV show fan we immediately started speaking about Fatmagul, Feriha, Little Lord and many more. Later that evening we all went to Dubai Marina, It looked very surreal to me, the yachts on the right and the cafes on the left, it felt rich, Oh I forgot I was in Dubai! Thanks to Wikipedia I got to know that Dubai Marina is an artificial canal city, built along a two-mile (3 km) stretch of Persian Gulf shoreline. After a long walk, I went back to my hotel as I had my flight early morning.
If I get a chance I will visit Dubai again, this time for a longer period and those who haven’t been to Dubai PLEASE ADD THIS PLACE TO YOUR BUCKET LIST!!!!!
Just before leaving for the airport 😛
